Final double page spread
Final contents page
This is my final front cover. I have changed the text and also the layout of my contents page. i have changed the colour of the text on the special offer sign. I have added the box around my pictures to make them stand out better. i have also changed the picture of the artist Amy to make the contents page look more professional.
Final front cover draft
As you can see i have changed the colour of the glow on my splash, i have put the image in the middle and i have also made the banner smaller at the bottom. another thing i have changed is where the text is placed around the image to bake a border and also i have changed the place of where the date and price have gone. Instead of having them under the title i have put them at the top of the page.
Further changes
After having my feedback from my evaluation i thought that i would improve my products to make them look better and a lot more professional and pleasing to the eye. The will be posted shortly.

Feedback from pupils on my double page spread.
I asked Paul Deakin about what he thought about my double page spread and to give me feedback. He said that the layout was good but that he didn't like the picture of the lad. This is because it is a rubbish picture. Paul said to improve i should replicate the image of the girl so it looks like they are competing against each other. This will link in with the story that i have got. He also said that the colour for the lad interview doesn't look good on the blue background. But the blue background it good because it is throughout the magazine that shows the profession and consistency.

Feedback for my contents page
I asked Ben Murphy what he thought of my contents and he thought that the text was boring on my contents and that it was too big for the contents page. But he said that the background looks very good as it looks professional and consistent. Ben said that the pictures were good and he liked how they both had a glow on them to make the picture stand out so they are eye catching. But the picture of amy can be improved fixing the red eye. This will make it seem more professional and conventional to a proper music magazine.

Feedback from peers on my front cover
I have been talking to my pupils in my media studies class about my front cover and they think that there isnt much text on there and to improve this they think i should either make my picture bigger so it covers up more space or add more text to the front cover to take up the space. This would make the cover stand out a lot more on the shelves if there was more text that was bold on the front. They said that they like the picture on the front as it goes with the layout well but they think that i should get rid of the red eye on the picture to make it look more professional. They really liked my text and the font that i have used on the text because it is eye catching this is also the case with the colours i have used and also the background. This is a big step from the first front cover i posted because it stands out more and the front cover doesn't look plain no more.
